Joyce and I went on a road trip this April to deliver over 2000 books to 8 locations across the Midwest/Mideast states of Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Our Gifting Partners of Families First Counseling (Waterloo IA) and Ronald McDonald Houses in Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Pittsburgh, Morgantown, and Cincinnati (in that order) took 2300 miles of driving before we returned home in Minnesota. This trip expanded our Gifting Partner network to a total of 25 organizations, allowing us to reach thousands of kids with our children’s books to provide them with comfort and distraction from their medical challenges. Thanks go out to our donors for their sponsorship and support, making these efforts possible and for enabling us to continue to supply books on an ongoing basis.
